Columbia City businesses are advertising discounts to the Light Rail riders during July 18th through September 7th. This is a great idea! This is what the businesses were promised more consumers from outside of the neighborhood. Columbia City's reatil, restaurants and shopping had always had a certain appeal to me and now that I can enjoy the character of the area without driving to it, I will make it a frequent destiantion.
